On the 17th of April World Hemophilia day is celebrated worldwide. A trip to oasis golf club on that Day is most precious memory of mine. The reason why I went there with my team and the warriors of Hemophilia patient was that I have the honor to be part of the team who arranged an event on that day with my team. This day may be ordinary or even unknown for majority but that day is like celebrating Eid for hemophiliac patients. I can feel their happiness which was dominant on their faces. The departure of hemophiliac persons and their families with team of Chughtais Lahore Lab to Oasis golf club was an amazing experience of my life. The patients were very excited and wanted to reach there as soon as possible. Such happiness was obvious because a lot of those poor children never usually have chances for day outs or picnics.
The celebrations began with swimming, hemophiliac persons whether young or elders they actively took part in making this day memorable. The dances and Punjabi wraps performed by hemophiliac persons showed their concern and cheerfulness. They were so happy like they feel that they are out of this world. Such small happiness contributed a lot in making them feel that they are also the part of society who can enjoy all rights and equally contribute in serving their country. The journey ends with prize distribution among hemophiliac patient. I noticed the sense of gratification on their faces which also satisfied me and made me feel that it’s not just the smile which matters it’s also about how much people contribute for their betterment and happiness.
